Victory gives a sense of satisfaction, it is the seal of effort we have put in which fills us with self-confidence. But is winning everything?
If you make the mistake of focusing only on winning then you may forget the effort, time, patience and dedication it takes to get there. Sooner or later a loss will come, and if winning is everything to you, that loss can flatten you and sap your motivation to get back on your feet and try again.
On the other hand, if you focus on your will to win, and on your effort to become better, to surpass yourself every time and increase your potential even a little, then you will be invincible. The important thing is not the victory, it is the mentality of fighting for it, losing, learning from defeat and continuing, keeping the flame of will strong.
